This course aims to help us understand why we worry and what makes it difficult to stop worrying. It examines different types of worry and the therapist gives you strategies to manage anxiety and reduce worrying, such as distraction, relaxation, and problem-solving. In the classes, there is an opportunity to talk about your experiences with the home practices, the obstacles that inevitably arise, and how to deal with them skilfully.
The course runs for 60 minutes each week for 7 weeks. There is also a booster follow up session that takes place 3 months after completing the course.
